The rehabilitation center “LANKA” is the most important project of our public organization in 2023. We see the courage of the Ukrainian people in the confrontation with the Russian aggressor and share the bitterness of losses in this war. Being aware of the level of pain and the consequences that affected each and every one of us, we want to make our contribution to the future of liberated Ukraine and free Belarus. That is why we started this project.
Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian and foreign volunteers pass through the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; thousands of ex-servicemen require help in restoring mental and physical health, re-adaptation and socialization after discharge from service (primarily foreigners who do not receive sufficient care from the authorities).
Helping everyone is a challenge for both the state and civil society. We voluntarily accept this challenge to help as many defenders as possible to return to a peaceful life.
Now these are volunteers who are working on the project. The Center, which will be able to help up to 10 veterans per month, needs $30,000 for six months to do high-quality work.
